Where this is headed
The inaugural class was hand-picked. Future classes will be different.
Here's the mechanic. It's deliberately simple — no login wall, no separate voting app, nothing to install:
- Every nominee gets a post on the Medipyxis blog. If your nomination is real and citable, we'll write a profile. No pay-to-play. No sponsor gate.
- We share every nominee's post from the Medipyxis LinkedIn page. One post per nominee. Same format for everyone.
- Nominees reshare their post to their own LinkedIn network. Colleagues, customers, mentors — whoever knows their work.
- LinkedIn engagement is the vote. We count reactions, comments, and reshares on the Medipyxis post for each nominee. The top vote-getters are inducted into the next Hall of Fame class.
How votes are scored
Effort and reach both count. A reshare puts the nominee in front of an entirely new network, so it's weighted highest. A thoughtful comment is worth more than a thumbs-up. A thumbs-up is still worth something.
No accounts, no forms to fill out to vote — just react, comment, or repost. We announce the tally window and cutoff date when the round opens.
What to Include in Your Nomination
Four short things. Every one of them helps us do the person justice.
Who you're nominating
Full name, current company/role, and a LinkedIn URL if you have it.
The one thing that makes them a legend
Not their résumé — the specific reason they belong in this Hall. A story is better than a title.
How you know them (optional)
So we know if you're a colleague, a customer, a fan, or their favorite MAC-denial nemesis.
Anything they'd be surprised we found
A quirky detail, a hidden talent, a comedy side-gig, a construction firm with their family name on it. We love these.
Submit a Nomination
Put the person's name and everything above into the message field. Damon reads them personally, usually within a day.
