Medipyxis Pricing: What Mobile Wound Care Software Actually Costs
Medipyxis pricing explained — per-seat subscription tiers, what's included (everything), onboarding costs, and how it compares to running 7-8 separate tools.

Medipyxis

The Short Version
Medipyxis is a per-seat subscription. Every customer gets every feature. There are no module add-ons, no per-feature charges, and no hidden fees. The only variables are how many clinician licenses you need and how much onboarding support you want.
If you want the full tier breakdown right now, go to /pricing. If you want to understand the pricing philosophy and do the math on what you are currently spending across 7-8 separate tools, keep reading.
Pricing Philosophy: One Platform, One Price
Most wound care software vendors sell modules. You pay for the EHR, then pay again for billing, then pay again for scheduling, then pay again for analytics. By the time you have a functioning stack, you are running 5-7 separate subscriptions with 5-7 separate logins and zero data integration between them.
Medipyxis does not work that way. Every plan includes the full platform: EHR and documentation, referral intake, graft inventory ERP, billing and revenue cycle, compliance and credentialing, and the leadership cockpit. A solo NP on the Mini tier gets the same feature set as a 50-clinician operation on Growth. The difference between tiers is team size and the level of onboarding support -- not which features you unlock.
This is a deliberate business decision. Module upsells create misaligned incentives. They reward the vendor for withholding capability from smaller customers who often need it most. We would rather price transparently on seat count and let every practice run on the full platform from day one.
Subscription Tiers
All pricing is per clinician license, billed monthly unless you opt for quarterly or annual billing.
| Tier | Price | Minimum Licenses | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mini | $200/mo per user | 1 | Solo clinicians, self-serve setup |
| Solo | $500/mo per user | 1 | Solo or small practices wanting guided onboarding |
| Launch | $350/mo per user | 5 | Growing teams (5-24 clinicians) |
| Growth | $250/mo per user | 25 | Scaled operations (25-199 clinicians) |
| Enterprise | Custom | 200+ | Large organizations, custom integrations |
Volume discounts apply automatically. When your team crosses a tier threshold, the lower per-user rate kicks in across all licenses. You do not need to renegotiate.
Launch is the most popular tier. Most mobile wound care practices land here -- large enough to need dedicated onboarding, small enough to not need a custom contract.
What Every Tier Includes
There is no feature matrix where half the boxes are blank. Every tier gets:
- EHR and Documentation -- LCD-compliant wound charting, guided templates, wound photo annotation, offline-capable mobile documentation
- CRM and Referral Intake -- OCR-powered fax processing, automated insurance verification, AI clinician assignment based on geography and workload
- Graft Inventory ERP -- lot-level tracking, expiration management, PAR level alerts, vendor reconciliation, IVR packet automation
- Billing and Revenue Cycle -- CPT/ICD-10 code pre-lining from clinical notes, LCD compliance checking, claim submission
- Compliance and Credentialing -- 90/60/30-day license renewal alerts, automatic scheduling blocks on expired credentials, audit trail documentation
- Leadership Cockpit -- referral conversion rates, denial rates, clinician utilization, revenue per encounter, SLA compliance dashboards
Higher tiers add AI-powered referral intake, white-glove onboarding, dedicated customer success managers, custom integrations, and SLA guarantees. But the core platform is identical.
Onboarding
Implementation is not free. Setting up a wound care platform properly -- data migration, wound photo import, visit history transfer, clinician training, workflow configuration -- takes real work. We price it honestly instead of burying it in the subscription.
| Tier | Onboarding Fee | What You Get |
|---|---|---|
| Mini | $500 | Self-serve setup, knowledge base, email support |
| Solo | $5,000 | Guided implementation, data migration, training sessions |
| Launch | $15,000 | Dedicated onboarding team, full data migration, on-site training option |
| Growth | $50,000 | White-glove implementation, custom workflow configuration, phased rollout |
| Enterprise | $150,000+ | Custom implementation plan, integration development, dedicated project manager |
Enterprise onboarding is scoped per engagement. A 200-clinician organization with legacy EMR migration, custom API integrations, and multi-site rollout is a different project than a 300-clinician operation starting fresh. We scope it, price it, and deliver it -- no surprises at month three.
We also offer deferred onboarding fees for qualifying practices on annual contracts.
Billing Cadence
Three options:
- Monthly -- no long-term contract, cancel anytime. Full list price.
- Quarterly -- billed up front, 5% discount on per-seat pricing.
- Annual -- billed up front, 10% discount on per-seat pricing.
All plans include the same features regardless of billing cadence. The discount is for commitment, not for unlocking capability.
The Real Cost Comparison
Here is what the typical mobile wound care practice pays today to do what Medipyxis does in one platform:
| Tool | Typical Monthly Cost |
|---|---|
| General EHR | $300-$600 |
| Scheduling and dispatch | $100-$300 |
| Fax intake and referral CRM | $100-$200 |
| Inventory tracking (or spreadsheets + labor) | $50-$200 |
| Credentialing platform | $100-$200 |
| Billing service or RCM | $500-$2,000 |
| Analytics or BI dashboard | $100-$300 |
| Communication tools (fax, secure messaging) | $50-$150 |
| Total (8 tools) | $1,300-$3,950/mo |
| Medipyxis (all-in-one) | Starting at $200/mo |
That is before you count the labor cost of re-entering data across systems that do not talk to each other. Every hour a clinician spends copying patient data from the EHR to the billing system to the inventory spreadsheet is an hour they are not seeing patients. Every referral that sits in a fax queue because nobody checked the intake system today is revenue that walked out the door.
The math gets sharper when you factor in denial reduction, documentation time savings, and referral capture improvement. Most practices running this calculation find a significant operational savings — with most practices reporting break-even within 90 days based on documentation time savings and denial reduction alone.
Contract Terms
- Monthly plans: no contract, cancel anytime.
- Quarterly and annual plans: commitment period matches the billing cadence. Discount applies for the duration of the term.
- Data portability: your data is yours. If you leave, you get a full export. We do not hold data hostage.
- Uptime: Enterprise tier includes SLA guarantees. All tiers benefit from the same infrastructure.
What We Do Not Charge For
- Feature unlocks or module add-ons (there are none)
- Support tier upgrades (priority support is included at Solo and above)
- Clinician training (included with every onboarding tier)
- Platform updates and new feature releases
- Data migration assistance (included with guided onboarding tiers)
