This feature allows administrators to create and register a new pharmacy within the Medipyxis system for prescription fulfillment and facility integration.

Steps to Add a Pharmacy

  1. Click the "+ New Pharmacy" button located at the top-right corner of the Pharmacy Management dashboard.

  2. A New Pharmacy Form will appear. Fill in the required information across the three sections described below.

1. Basic Information

This section captures essential pharmacy identifiers:

  • Display Name and Store Name

  • NCPDP ID (National Council for Prescription Drug Programs Identifier)

  • Status – choose whether the pharmacy is Active or not

  • Options to enable:

    • Mail Order Pharmacy

    • ePrescribe Enabled

2.Contact Information

Contact information tab

Enter the primary communication details of the pharmacy to ensure accurate contact:

  • Phone Number and Extension

  • Fax Number

  • Email Address

3.Address Information

Address information tab

Provide the complete physical address of the pharmacy including:

  • Street Address

  • Suite/Unit (if applicable)

  • City, State, ZIP Code

Create Pharmacy tab

Once all details are entered, click the “Create Pharmacy” button to save the record in the system.
